THE READING QUESTION

Read the drawing before the application

A paper-based visual study can explore line, shape, rhythm and negative space. State the creative brief and the relationship you want to discuss before comparing alternatives.

A drawing exercise does not establish a tattooing method, body-placement suitability or readiness for practical work. Keep the observation on paper distinct from an approved professional procedure.

BEFORE DRAWING A CONCLUSION

Keep the question
with the reference.

  1. Which relationship is being studied?
  2. What changed between alternatives?
  3. What does the paper exercise leave outside its scope?

A READING SEQUENCE TO CONTINUE

Reading does not establish practical readiness, eligibility, a qualification or authorisation. Any actual activity needs its responsible source and approved setting.

THE NEXT READING BEGINS WITH A QUESTION.

Keep looking.
Keep the context.

An original observation. An attributable source.
A question that deserves a closer reading.
