A clear purpose

An educational publication for reading tattoo-art references, drawing questions and responsible professional-learning contexts.

This is a private educational knowledge publication. It is not a government or statutory board, university, academy, examination operator or qualification-awarding authority. The name does not establish regulatory recognition.

03

What belongs here

A history reference is not a whole tradition; Read the drawing before the application; Professional learning needs an approved scope.

Education and examination are separate

IBTA provides tattoo arts education, knowledge and heritage resources. International Board of Tattoo Examination (IBTE) has the separate examination and assessment role. IBTA does not enrol candidates, assess examination results or verify examination credentials.
